About this event
On the national holiday the Parliament opens its doors without charge and without advance booking, letting visitors see the Grand Staircase, the Dome Hall and the Holy Crown of Hungary. Guided tours normally cost several thousand forints and sell out weeks ahead, so this is the one day of the year the building is genuinely walk-in.
