About this event
Bucharest's early-music festival runs 30 September to 4 October with six concerts played on historical instruments — the opening night at the Anglican Church takes on Italian baroque with the ABARIS ensemble under violinist Irina Nanushi. One concert in the run, on 2 October at the Sala „George Enescu”, is open to the public at no charge, which makes it the way into a festival otherwise built around ticketed evenings and masterclasses.
Why we picked it
The one free date in Bucharest's early-music festival, played on period instruments in a proper concert hall.
Free entry
Radio Clasic reports: "Intrarea la concertul din 2 octombrie, de la Sala „George Enescu”, este liberă" (free entry).
