About this event
Eugen Gyemant directs an adaptation of Mircea Eliade's Maitreyi, the 1933 novel drawn from his years in Calcutta, staged in the Sava hall of Bucharest's national theatre and film university. Student and graduate productions at UNATC are where most of Romania's stage talent first appears, and the free-with-reservation model exists precisely so the room fills with an audience rather than a jury.
