Six young conductors selected from an international field work with maestro Cristian Măcelaru and the Romanian Youth Orchestra, in public sessions anyone can sit in on. Watching a conductor being coached is a rare, unguarded look at how an orchestra is actually shaped, and it runs across five days at Sala Radio as the Enescu Competition's anniversary edition opens.
