About this event
Four days of papers, demonstrations and performance on the seventeenth- and eighteenth-century oratorio, focused on how these works were actually scored and how the continuo line functioned in practice. Run by the Conservatoire's early-music department, it mixes musicology with live illustration, so non-specialists get to hear the arguments played as well as argued.
Why we picked it
A four-day early-music conference where the arguments are demonstrated on period instruments, open to anyone.
