Peter Lipa, the elder statesman of Slovak jazz and blues, plays the Main Square as part of the city's free cultural summer programme. Expect his own standards sung in Slovak alongside blues and swing material from a career spanning five decades. It is the biggest name on the free August bill, and the square fills early, so arrive well before seven.
