Sunday afternoons in Volkspark Friedrichshain are given over to open-air dancing: swing from two, Charleston at three, Lindy Hop from four. Teachers lead each hour from scratch, so turning up alone with no experience is entirely normal and partners get rotated. Wear shoes you can pivot in, bring water, and expect to stay longer than the hour you planned on.
