Violinist Matteo Cimatti and pianist Francesco Granata play Schumann's First Violin Sonata in A minor and Ravel's Violin Sonata in G major — two works that sit either side of a Romantic dividing line. Forty to fifty minutes in the Great Hall foyer, standing room only, with cheap hot food served from noon before the music starts.
