About this event
Every Wednesday from September to June the foyer of the Philharmonie's Great Hall fills for a free forty-to-fifty-minute lunchtime concert, drawing tourists, office workers and regulars in equal measure. This week brings Aina Font Zaragoza (saxophone), Pablo Suaste (piano) and Agostinho Sequeira (percussion), playing a chamber programme announced by the hall. Chamber music and piano works dominate the series, and members of the Berliner Philharmoniker often appear. Spontaneous, unstuffy and over by two.
Why we picked it
A dependable weekly free concert inside one of the world's great halls, at a time that suits visitors mid-sightseeing.
Free entry
"September bis Juni an jedem Mittwoch um 13 Uhr" with "Eintritt: frei" stated on the series page.
