About this event
For most of August the courtyard of the former Ministry for State Security shows documentaries and features about life in the GDR, projected onto a screen in the shadow of the building that ran the surveillance state. It is the rare open-air cinema where the venue is doing as much narrative work as the film. Free, outdoors, and one of the more thoughtful ways to spend a Berlin evening.
