About this event
Violinist Matteo Cimatti and pianist Francesco Granata pair two sonatas that sit either side of a stylistic divide: Schumann's First Violin Sonata in A minor op. 105, restless and compact, and Ravel's Sonata in G major, with its blues-inflected middle movement. Forty-odd minutes in the foyer of the Großer Saal, no ticket, no interval.
