About this event
Every summer this company turns a corner of Parc de l'Estació del Nord into an open-air amphitheatre and stages Shakespeare for free, on the grass, in Catalan. This year's Hamlet is a deliberately unruly reading directed by Roger Torns, leaning into feminism, inclusion and gender diversity. Bring something to sit on and get there early; the run finishes in the first days of August.
Why we picked it
Free open-air Shakespeare in a city park, in its final week, with no ticket or reservation required.
Free entry
Free admission; the company states price should never be a barrier to accessing culture.
Registration
None stated; first-come seating on the grass.
A third-party event from official public listings, checked by Glentio. Programmes can change — confirm on the organiser's site.
