About this event
The Karolos Koun Art Theatre hands out its new Young Director Award for the first time, in the Plaka basement stage where postwar Greek theatre was largely reinvented. The prize recognises a debut production staged in the preceding year. A short evening, open to the public, and a genuine first for the Athens theatre calendar.
Why we picked it
The inaugural edition of a new national theatre prize, free and open to the public, in one of the most storied rooms in Greek theatre.
Free entry
Source states 'Eισιτήρια: Είσοδος ελεύθερη' and in the body 'Η είσοδος στην τελετή απονομής του βραβείου είναι ελεύθερη για το κοινό' (entry to the award ceremony is free for the public).
