Alaró's float parade rolls at seven on Assumption day — homemade carrosses built by neighbourhood teams over weeks, sound systems lashed to trailers, water thrown liberally — and the revetla takes over the square at half past ten with a run of DJs. One of the more chaotic and affectionate village nights in the Tramuntana.
