Barcelona's paid list is Gaudí, and the only real question is which version of each ticket to buy. The bookings below are from our partner's Barcelona catalogue, 424 experiences as read on October 1, ranked by how many people booked and how they rated them, with the version choice made explicit. Prices are "from" prices in euros. The free week around them is the Festa del Roser, the Rambla's own festival, on Glentio's Barcelona page today.

Gaudí, in the right version
- Sagrada Família. The entry ticket with audio guide, from €34, is the most-booked thing in Barcelona, 120,100 reviews at 4.6. The skip-the-line entry with a guided tour, from €82, is rated 4.8 by 15,100 and is the better-rated of the two; the difference is a person explaining the facades, which is worth it on a first visit and not on a second.
- Park Güell. The admission ticket, from €22, 4.4 from 89,800, against the guided tour with skip-the-line entry, from €25, 4.7 from 22,600. Three euros more for a guide and a higher rating; take the tour.
- The two houses. Casa Batlló with the self-audioguide, from €29, 4.7 from 32,000, and La Pedrera, Casa Milà, with the audio guide option, from €25, 4.7 from 29,500. Rated identically; Batlló is the stranger interior, La Pedrera has the roof. Book Batlló for the morning light on the facade.
Two shows and a stadium
- Flamenco at the Theater City Hall, from €25, an hour, 4.6 from 12,400. The most-booked show in the city.
- Flamenco with dinner at Tablao de Carmen, from €88, 4.8 from 2,300, the best-rated, in the Poble Espanyol on Montjuïc.
- FC Barcelona Museum, Barça Immersive Tour, from €30, 4.3 from 14,700. The lowest rating on this page, and still the second-most-booked ticket after the Sagrada Família; book it for a match-free day.
Food, walked or cooked
- Tapas walking tour with food, wine and history, from €56, three hours, 4.8 from 5,400. The most-booked food experience in the city.
- Paella class with a Boqueria market tour, from €59, three hours, 4.8 from 4,300.
- El Born food walk with tapas and drinks, from €75, 4.9 from 760, or Authentic bars, cava and vermut, from €71, 4.9 from 520, the two best-rated, for an evening rather than a lunch.
A day out
- Montserrat half-day small-group tour, from €38, 4.8 from 1,800. The mountain monastery, the morning, back for lunch.
- Costa Brava kayak, maximum eight, from €79, 4.9 from 600, while the sea is still warm.
- City highlights by Segway, from €44, 4.9 from 640, the best-rated of the wheeled tours.

Free around it: the Festa del Roser
The Rambla's own festival runs through the week with guided walks and open doors, all free and most with a meeting point given on booking. On Tuesday October 6 the Cercle Català d'Història walks the Rambla as a timeline at 10:00 and 17:00, and Cultruta walks its burnings, convent fires to the Liceu bomb, at 17:30. Wednesday October 7 is the day to be in the old town: the Ateneu Barcelonès opens its doors, a members' library in a seventeenth-century palace with a hidden garden, from 11:00 to 19:00, and at 16:00 there are visits to Mercè Rodoreda's archive and garden at the Institut d'Estudis Catalans and backstage at the Teatre Romea, the home of Catalan-language drama since 1863. On Saturday October 10 at 17:00 a route through La Mercè, the city's first sailors' quarter, and on Sunday October 11 at 11:00 Rafa Burgos takes apart the Plaça de Catalunya. The walks are in Catalan and Spanish; the Ateneu's open day needs no language.
For Europeans
Barcelona is a short flight from everywhere and the October 12 long weekend fills it with Spanish visitors; book the Sagrada Família slot now and the flamenco for a weeknight. Valencia's 9 October week is the same long weekend two hours down the coast.
For visitors from the US
Dates on posters are day first: 10/10 is October 10. Prices above are in euros; the Sagrada Família tour costs about a Broadway rush ticket, the tapas walk about a dinner out. Book the Sagrada Família and Park Güell before you fly and the houses the week before; Montserrat needs a clear forecast, not a long lead.
For visitors from East Asia
Mid-October is after Golden Week and after the Spanish summer, so fares and hotels are at their calmest. Spain sets no minimum purchase for a VAT refund; ask for the tax-free form at the till. The Sagrada Família audio guide runs in Japanese, Korean and Chinese; the partner tours run in English.
