Kulturfestivalen's 2026 country focus brings the travelling Catalan festival APLEC to Stockholm with more than a thousand performers. Expect castellers building swaying acrobatic human towers, street parades, traditional dance and the full noisy apparatus of Catalan festa transplanted to Slottsbacken beneath the Royal Palace. A striking piece of imported living heritage rather than a stage concert.
