Andratx's coastal village stages its own Moors and Christians battle on the same day as Pollença's, but at a fraction of the scale and with the sea as a backdrop. Landing craft, costumes and a good-natured skirmish along the shore make it a friendlier, less crowded alternative for anyone based in the south-west of the island.
