A hillside park above the Colosseum hosts more than a hundred free concerts across the summer, heavy on jazz and swing. August brings Mafalda Minnozzi's Brazilian trio, Lino Patruno's Roman Classic Jazz Festival from the 19th, and a Django Reinhardt gypsy-jazz weekend from the 26th, with free Lindy Hop lessons on Tuesdays and comedy on Mondays.
