Julian Beck is remembered as the co-founder of the Living Theatre, but he began as a painter, and this show at the Accademia di San Luca's new Ripense space puts the canvases first. It is a small, serious exhibition in an air-conditioned room, which in a Roman August is an argument in itself. Closes on 23 August.
