Twenty-two free observation evenings run across Paris parks until early September, with astronomical telescopes set up on the grass and AFA sky guides on hand to explain what you are looking at. Depending on conditions, expect lunar craters, star clusters, nebulae and summer planets. The 12 August session at Parc André Citroën adds a partial solar eclipse, starting earlier at 19:00.
