Sobre este evento
A free reading group on 'Mort de dama', Llorenç Villalonga's savage 1931 satire of Palma's decaying aristocracy and arguably the founding novel of modern Mallorcan fiction. At the Son Sardina branch, early evening, no charge. Villalonga's 1931 satire of a decaying Palma aristocracy is the novel modern Mallorcan fiction is usually dated from, and it is still genuinely funny and genuinely cruel. Read in a small branch library on the city's northern edge, at no cost.
Por qué lo elegimos
The novel that invented modern Mallorcan literature, discussed free in a Palma branch library — the best local-reading pick in the window.
