Sobre este evento
Open House New York weekend takes the Gowanus Dredgers' walk-up paddling down to their 19th Street bunker launch, at the mouth of the canal near Sunset Park. You push off from a community-built dock and steer yourself along a waterway mid transformation from industrial artery to residential edge. Optional audio tours by the Unheard-of Ensemble fill in the history. Just turn up.
Por qué lo elegimos
Free self-guided canoeing on the Gowanus Canal, among the most unusual outdoor things you can do in Brooklyn, and this launch point only opens for OHNY weekend.
Entrada gratuita
Organiser describes it as "our signature free self-guided canoe programming", brought to the 19th St. location as part of Open House New York.
