For eight hours the traffic disappears and upper Manhattan belongs to people on foot, bikes and skates. HARLEM WEEK takes over the Summer Streets route from 109th Street up to 125th, filling the roadway with music, food stalls, fitness sessions and pop-up activities. Arrive early for the quiet, car-free stretch before the crowds; stay for the block-party energy that builds through the morning.
