Sobre este evento
Architect William Bialosky digs up Collect Pond, the freshwater lake that supplied New York for two centuries before the city buried it in 1802. The unstable ground it left behind made the land cheap, which shaped who ended up living there — Five Points first, then Chinatown. An illustrated talk that explains a neighbourhood through the water underneath it.
Por qué lo elegimos
Free admission to a genuinely illuminating architecture talk about the ground Chinatown stands on.
Entrada gratuita
MOCA's event page carries "Free Admission" in its admission field, against the paid door charge applied to other programmes in the same series.
