A guided slow-attention walk through the wooded stretch of Riverside Park, borrowing the Japanese shinrin-yoku practice of simply being among trees. Wear comfortable clothing and bring water, a snack and something to sit on. Late afternoon in early October is the right moment for it, with the canopy turning and the light going long.
