Sobre este evento
A study day on the contested idea of Hispanidad — who has claimed the term, what it has been made to mean politically, and how it reads from either side of the Atlantic. Held in the days after 12 October, which makes the timing part of the argument. Casa de América's history strand.
Por qué lo elegimos
It takes on the politics of 12 October head-on, days after the national holiday, in the institution built to host that conversation.
