Ljubljana's riverside fills with makers for ARTish, an open-air art and craft market strung along the Gallus Embankment beneath the castle hill. Painters, jewellers, ceramicists and illustrators sell directly from their stalls, and browsing costs nothing. It is an easy, unhurried way to spend a Saturday in the old town, with cafes and the Ljubljanica river a step away.
