The 67th season of Warsaw's open-air Chopin recitals continues beneath the Chopin Monument in Łazienki Park, with two piano recitals every Sunday. On 26 July the noon slot goes to French pianist Marc Laforêt and the afternoon to Poland's Joanna Marcinkowska. Audiences sit on the grass and benches around the rose garden; the format has been running since 1959 and remains one of the city's defining summer rituals.
