On the last Sunday of every month, permanent exhibitions across roughly two dozen Lithuanian state museums drop their entry fee entirely, from the Palace of the Grand Dukes and Gediminas' Castle Tower in central Vilnius out to Trakai Castle and the Kernave archaeological site. It's a simple way to tick off several major heritage sites in one day without spending on entry tickets.
