La Real, a village-scale barri on Palma's northern edge, keeps its patron-saint days around the old Cistercian monastery. Sant Bernat is a neighbourhood affair rather than a tourist set-piece: exhibitions, a solidarity market, an outdoor evening of music and dancing, and a solemn service on the feast day itself. Listed as free by the city council.
