The Studio Museum charges pay-what-you-can most days, but every Sunday admission is properly free and the building fills with programming: gallery talks, tours, drop-in art-making and storytime. It is the best-value way into the museum's first year in its new 125th Street home, and the Harlem crowd makes it feel more like a neighbourhood day out than a gallery visit.
