À propos de cet événement
Scholar Alexis Pauline Gumbs joins artist Steffani Jemison to mark the release of Gumbs's new Yale-published book on the life and work of painter Alma Thomas. It is a proper conversation between a poet-theorist and a practising artist rather than a promotional reading, held on the Studio Museum's Stoop, and it is free with ASL interpretation provided.
Pourquoi nous l'avons choisi
A substantial, free book conversation about a major Black abstract painter, with ASL interpretation, in the Studio Museum's new building.
Entrée gratuite
'This event is free and open to the public. ASL interpretation will be provided.'
