The second August instalment of the Alliance for Coney Island's ten-week fireworks series, launched from the sand and fired out over the Atlantic at 9.45pm. Come down in the late afternoon, walk the boardwalk, eat, and stay put — the stretch between West 10th and West 15th Street fills up well before dark.
