Portugal's National Library gives over a day to children and families: a children's book fair, a themed exhibition on the sea, storytelling, music, guided visits and hands-on workshops in conservation, restoration and braille. Workshops and visits are allocated by in-person sign-up on the day, subject to places remaining.
