Vincent Hsu Afro-Cuban Trio: Danza Para Miró Suite

Internationally acclaimed Taiwanese–New York bassist and composer Vincent Hsu presents the world premiere of Danza Para Miró Suite, a five-movement work inspired by Joan Miró and the artist’s creative connection with Barcelona, Mont-roig and Mallorca. Joined by Cuban pianist Miguel “Wiwi” García and drummer Frank Durand, Hsu blends contemporary jazz with Afro-Cuban rhythms inside the intimate auditorium of Fundació Miró Mallorca.
