Über dieses Event
Thirteen infantrymen and four cavalry troopers in seventeenth-century uniform re-enact the Cravat Regiment, the Croatian unit whose red neck scarves gave the world the necktie. The ninety-minute ceremony moves along Ilica, posts guards at Ban Jelačić Square and the Cathedral, and closes with the flag handover and division of the ranks. It is Zagreb's most photogenic piece of living history.
