Paris's beloved free open-air cinema returns to the great lawn of Parc de la Villette for a month of evening screenings under the stars. Audiences bring blankets and picnics to watch a curated season of classics and crowd-pleasers on a giant inflatable screen. Deckchairs are available to rent, but a spot on the grass and the film itself cost nothing, making it one of the capital's most convivial summer traditions.
