The closing day of Steel Scenes hands Jubilee Gardens to a full afternoon and evening of free performances from some of the UK's finest steel bands. More than 500 musicians and over 25 bands take part across the weekend, with mass performances, new commissions and workshops spilling across the Southbank Centre's eleven-acre site. Bring a blanket; the lawn fills quickly once the first orchestra strikes up.
