On summer Thursday nights a dance floor is laid out beneath Jože Plečnik's riverside market colonnade and the city comes out to dance. Couples of every age and ability move through ballroom and Latin standards under the arcade lights, with the Ljubljanica just beyond. Beginners are welcome, instruction is offered, and watching from the edge with a drink is half the pleasure.
