About this event
Stage 21 rolls in from Thoiry and, as in 2024's Olympic road race, climbs the cobbles towards the Sacré-Cœur three times before the sprint down the Champs-Élysées. The final Montmartre ascent — 1.1 km at 5.9% — comes just over ten kilometres from the line, and the roadside crowds on rue Lepic are among the loudest of the whole three weeks.
Why we picked it
A world-class sporting spectacle, free from the roadside, closing the priority week — and the 2026 Tour also started in Barcelona, which ties two of these cities together.
Free entry
Free to watch from public roadside along the circuit. Official hospitality grandstands on the Champs-Élysées are paid and are not part of this listing.
Registration
Registration needed
None for roadside viewing; expect road closures, security screening and very early arrival for Montmartre spots
A third-party event from official public listings, checked by Glentio. Programmes can change — confirm on the organiser's site.
