The much-loved children's story of the mole who emerges from his burrow, finds something unpleasant on his head and sets off on a determined investigation to identify the culprit. Library staff read it aloud with the comic timing it deserves, for children aged three to eight accompanied by an adult — a reliable mid-August plan when much of the city has slowed down.
