About this event
A one-hour guided visit into the oldest layer of Can Balaguer, the Baroque mansion the Balaguer brothers left to the city. Restoration work completed in 2016 uncovered fourteenth-century wall paintings in a surviving fragment of the earlier medieval house; the visit sets that room in the context of the Riera torrent that once ran along the Born and the streets that replaced it.
