About this event
Every Sunday late morning one of Ljubljana's four wind orchestras sets up on the riverside promenade at Novi trg and plays for an hour, moving between marches, polkas, film themes and pop arrangements. Locals bring coffee from the neighbouring cafés and stand along the Ljubljanica to listen. It is unhurried, generous and entirely of the city — a civic tradition rather than a tourist attraction.
