About this event
Ten days of folk and world music on the City of Helsinki's Esplanade stage, with accordionist Maria Kalaniemi, Pekko Käppi and kantele player Maija Pokela among the announced performers exploring the Kalevala tradition and its modern descendants. Free and open to all ages, it is one of the easiest ways to hear serious Finnish roots music without a festival ticket.
