About this event
For its 30th edition the world's longest beer garden stretches 2.2 kilometres down Karl-Marx-Allee, with around 300 breweries from 85 countries pouring roughly 2,400 beers — German classics, Belgian Trappists, English ales and a growing craft section of IPAs, sours and stouts. Eighteen stages run continuous live music, and street food stalls mirror the breweries' home countries. Entry costs nothing; the beer does not.
Why we picked it
A milestone 30th edition of one of the few major Berlin Volksfeste that charges no entry fee, on a Stalinist boulevard that is a sight in itself.
Free entry
Free admission to the festival street and all 18 music stages. Beer and food are bought individually from the stands — attendance is free, consumption is not.
