Now in its eleventh year, King's Cross Summer Sounds fills Coal Drops Yard with eleven days of free open-air music — folk, jazz, soul, classical and indie rock — plus dance performances woven through the programme. Weekday evenings are short, sharp after-work sets; Sundays stretch into long family afternoons. The Victorian coal drops make an unusually good outdoor room, and everything happens without a ticket.
