Budapest Play is a lively street-music festival and competition that scatters musicians across ten public locations around the city, from central squares and transport hubs to market halls, Margaret Island and riverside spots. Over its late-July and early-August dates, buskers and bands turn everyday urban corners into free open-air stages, letting passers-by wander between performances. Entirely free to enjoy, with no ticket required.
